Connect PinSeek to your AI assistant

Give a local agent the ability to find golf tee times and manage your PinSeek alerts. The agent runs a small CLI on your computer; you approve account access in your own browser. PinSeek provides booking links and never makes a reservation for you.

Want a local agent to handle setup?

Set up PinSeek for me using https://app.pinseek.io/developers/agents. Download the versioned archive, verify its SHA-256, and install the CLI and skill for your environment. Ask me to approve account access in my browser, then confirm that pinseek-agent status reports connected. Do not book a tee time or create an alert during setup.

01 / local agent setup

Install once, then add the skill

Download CLI + skill

For the six local agents below: requires macOS or Linux, Python 3.10 or newer, and a local shell available to your agent. Download the archive, verify its SHA-256, then run the install commands in your download directory. Muse uses a separate preview setup.

Verify the download with SHA-256

Download the checksum file into the same directory as the archive, then run this before extracting it:

python3 - <<'PY'
from hashlib import sha256
from pathlib import Path
archive = Path("pinseek-agent-0.1.4.tar.gz")
expected = Path(f"{archive}.sha256").read_text().split()[0]
assert sha256(archive.read_bytes()).hexdigest() == expected, "Checksum mismatch"
print("Checksum OK")
PY

Install CLI
python3 -c 'import sys; assert sys.version_info >= (3, 10), "Python 3.10+ required"'
tar -xzf pinseek-agent-0.1.4.tar.gz
cd pinseek-agent-0.1.4
mkdir -p "$HOME/.local/bin"
install -m 0755 bin/pinseek-agent "$HOME/.local/bin/pinseek-agent"
"$HOME/.local/bin/pinseek-agent" status

The first status should say not_connected. Add $HOME/.local/bin to the agent process’s PATH, or give it the absolute CLI path.

02 / choose your agent

Choose your agent’s setup

For local agents, run the command in your tab from the extracted pinseek-agent-0.1.4 directory, then start a fresh session. Muse has a separate preview setup while its official connector is under review.

OpenClaw

Run this from the extracted folder in your active OpenClaw workspace. The skill installs into that workspace.

Install skill
openclaw skills install ./skill/pinseek --as pinseek

The six local-agent options use the same CLI installed above. Make sure $HOME/.local/bin is available to the agent process, or give it the absolute CLI path. Muse uses its separate preview package.

03 / connect & test local agents

Approve access in your browser

  1. Tell your agent: “Connect my PinSeek account.” It should run pinseek-agent status, then start the connection if needed.
  2. Open the URL and enter the code the CLI supplies. Sign in to PinSeek and approve the scopes. The agent checks status until it reports connected.
  3. Try: “What’s open at Alhambra Golf Course tomorrow afternoon for four?” Confirm that the reply includes the observation time and labels live results versus last scans.

To disconnect later, tell the agent “Disconnect PinSeek”. It should revoke the connection and verify not_connected.

Your account stays yours

The CLI keeps tokens in ~/.config/pinseek/agent-credentials.json for the local OS user. It uses a separate pinseek-cli connected app from Muse. You can set PINSEEK_CREDENTIALS_PATH to isolate agents further. Never put tokens in prompts or skill files.

What it can do

Search and course lookup are available with a PinSeek account. Creating or resuming alerts requires Pro. The CLI can manage dated alerts, but repeating schedules and some advanced alerts need editing in PinSeek. Agents should ask before changing alerts. A booking link opens the course’s site; it does not reserve or pay for a tee time.

Building another integration? See the HTTPS API reference. OAuth device authorization is the current supported login flow.
